Do you sell the Apache 4800 custom foam insert only, without the case?
Yes. We cut the foam insert only – you keep your existing Apache 4800 case and drop the new insert in.
What size foam fits an Apache 4800?
Harbor Freight lists the Apache 4800 interior as 17-7/8" x 12-7/8" x 6-5/8". RAGAR’s ready-made insert and uncut pad for the 4800 use a 17.75" x 12.5" footprint.
Can you cut the lid foam too?
Yes. Tell us in your request if you want a cut lid layer as well as the base, for example to hold flat items like targets, manuals or tablets.
Does the Apache 4800 take the same foam as a Pelican 1520?
The RAGAR size chart lists both cases on the same 17.75" x 12.5" footprint, so the same RAGAR insert fits both. A custom CNC-cut insert is still cut to your specific case.
