Milwaukee PACKOUT Foam Inserts
The PACKOUT system stacks and locks beautifully. Its compartments are still bare plastic. A Milwaukee PACKOUT foam insert turns a PACKOUT organizer or tool case into a padded, shadowed case — tools stop rattling, and a missing one is obvious at a glance.

- Uncut customizable insert, 12.75" – solid XLPE foam you shape yourself, for tools, electronics or test equipment. Available in 1, 2 and 4-packs.
- Glock 17/19 cut, 12.75" – precision-cut well for a Glock 17 or 19 plus magazines.
- 1911 cut, 12.75" – precision-cut well for a 1911 plus two magazines.
Which PACKOUT Box Do You Have?
PACKOUT foam is sized by the interior of each box, not by the system name. Find the model number printed on the box and match it below.

Fitment
All stocked inserts above are cut to 12.75" for the Milwaukee 5-Compartment PACKOUT Compact Organizer, part #48-22-8435. They do not fit the 48-22-8450 tool case or the full-size tool boxes — those take a custom-cut insert. Measure your box’s interior before ordering if you run a different PACKOUT model.
Why Foam Instead of the Bare Bins
- Stops impact and vibration damage – bare compartments let tools hammer each other on a job site.
- Shadowing – a cut well shows instantly when something has not come back.
- Closed-cell XLPE – dense and non-absorbent, so oil and solvent wipe off rather than soak in.
Milwaukee PACKOUT Foam Insert FAQ
Do PACKOUT boxes come with foam?
Most do not. The organizers and tool boxes ship with bare compartments or plastic bins; only the 48-22-8450 tool case includes a trace-and-cut foam insert, and that one is cut once.
Can I cut the uncut 12.75" insert myself?

Do you make custom PACKOUT foam inserts for a specific tool set?
Yes. Send the model number and a straight-down photo of the tools, or lay them out in the online foam designer, and we CNC-cut the insert in Pomona, CA. Details on the PACKOUT custom foam page.
