Pick and Pluck Replacement Foam Inserts
Foam wears out long before the case does. Compressed, torn or over-plucked pick and pluck foam stops holding gear where you put it — these drop-in replacement sets are cut to the original case interior, so the fit is exact.
What Pick n Pluck Foam Is
Pluck-and-pull foam is scored into small cubes. You count out the outline of your equipment and pull the cubes free by hand, leaving a cavity shaped to your gear. It needs no tools and looks clean — but every pluck is permanent, which is why it is a consumable.
Replacement Foam Sets by Case Size
- Compact: 8" (3-piece), 10.62" (4-piece), 11.6" (3-piece).
- Standard: 13.37" (4-piece), 16" (3-piece), 20" (4-piece), 22".
- Rifle and transport: 35.75", 41.75", 46" and 50.5" pluck-and-pull sets; 48" and 54.58" multi-piece sets.
- Uncut stock: 12" x 9" solid XLPE pad for shaping your own.
Replace Like-for-Like, or Stop Replacing
A pluck set restores the case to how it shipped. A RAGAR reconfigurable insert in the same footprint costs more up front and never needs replacing — the blocks reset instead of tearing out.
Equipment Case Foam for Any Hard Case
Not every case is a gun case. The same closed-cell XLPE foam protects cameras, drones, test instruments, radios and medical kits, and there are three ways to get equipment case foam that fits:
- Drop-in pluck sets for the Eylar, Pelican and Apache footprints above – pull the cubes to the outline of each item.
- Reusable RAGAR inserts in the same footprints – press the blocks apart around the equipment and rebuild when the kit changes.
- CNC-cut pockets for a fixed kit – design it in the online foam designer or see custom foam for Pelican 1510, 1550 and 1600 equipment cases.
